The new course of “Graphic Design in the Middle East” aims to explain various graphic design works from the Middle East and to examine the evolving design styles and their relationship to economy, technology and pop culture in the Middle East.

Our very own Arwa Seifeddine is a staple in the Fine Arts program, she is one of the longest serving faculty in the DA&D. She joined LAU in 1984, back when it was still called BUC.
Alumnus and instructor Bahij Jaroudi’s skills has won him many awards including the 2015 Mahmoud Kahil Award for best graphic illustrator in the Arab world and the 2013 KITABI Award for Arab Children's Literature.
Our fine arts professor Bettina Badr graduated from the Lebanese University with a Diplome d'Etudes Superieures in fine arts in 2001, and a Master's degree in Visual Arts in 2012. Though she spent her years teaching and developing her own sense of artistry, she never stops attending local and international workshops.
