Meet Joan Baz, whenever she is not at LAU giving courses in animation, illustration or other graphic design related subjects, you can find her in her design studio Cardamon working on one of her many exciting projects.
Founded in 2015, Cardamon is quickly getting high exposure as Joan is being commissioned work by Google and Youtube among other big names. Who knows, maybe next time you are viewing a Youtube header, it may be Joan’s work. Joan is currently working on the 5th edition of the Beirut Animated festival which she will be co-directing. For this edition, she had put together, along with her partner, an exciting program bringing together a list of great international, local and regional animation professionals to share, learn and engage with animation as an art form.
