The inspiration behind my packaging design was based on the hassle and trouble my mom used to have when she used to make halawe sandwiches for me and my brothers when i was younger. Everyone knows that the halawe is made as a hard product where the consumer has to dig into the halawe in order to get the smallest bite. so I decided to make that process easier by making the halawe product into a paste like nuttela, or another sort of jam.

The product chosen for this project was dried fruits by Al-Rifai. The dried fruits chosen where kiwi, pineapple, and mango. I also made a package for the combination of all three fruits.. For as long as I can remember my mother always had trouble sending dried fruits as a snack with me to school. Not only was it a hassle because the package wasn’t lunch box size appropriate but she also had to transfer the fruits into a zip lock.
Therefore, I came up with a new easy and fun way to package these fruits as snacks for kids within the ages of 5 and 15. Since I am targeting children of this age group I decided to design munchkin illustrations for each
My inspiration was my little sister's school lunch box, i realized that she never has a product that isn't in a sandwich bag or a Tupperware.
